ABOUT THE SOUNDSEEKERS
EZEKiEL, inspired by the biblical name “Ezekiel,” is a veteran Chinese Trance artist and DJ who has dedicated over a decade to cultivating the Trance scene. He is the founder of AROS MUSIC, a Sino-American electronic music label. As one of the featured artists in NetEase’s electronic music brand "Fangci" tour documentary, he has made a lasting impact both at home and abroad.
Under the alias The Soundseekers, he has released music through internationally renowned labels such as OHM (Black Hole Recordings), Reason II Rise, Pure Enjoyment Black, and Universal Nation. He is the first Chinese Trance artist to release music on Universal Nation (Black Hole Recordings), quickly gaining support from both domestic and international artists. His notable tracks include “Pearl River,” “Everywhere With You,” “Hope,” “Into The Dark,” “Not Going Home,” “Tears of War Victims,” and “Angels Cry.”
With more than ten years of professional experience, EZEKiEL has received strong support from German Trance icon Alex M.O.R.P.H and was the first Chinese Trance artist invited as a guest on Universal Nation Radio. He was also interviewed on Guangzhou's Yangcheng Traffic Radio and featured on HIT FM’s electronic music chart, ranking in the top 5.
His works have been supported and played by legendary DJ Paul van Dyk on VONYC Sessions 724, and have gained recognition from other top international Trance artists such as Pinkque, Darren Porter, Danny Grunow, Steve Allen, and GXD.
EZEKiEL has performed at major music festivals and clubs across China, including:
Desert Music Festival, Origin Camp Bestival, FunBeats Music Festival, Ski 3.0 Music Festival, Nocturnal Groove, Equinox Music Festival, Jucy Peach Music Festival, IllumiRun, Echo Music Festival, among others.
In addition to being a prominent artist, he has played multiple roles as a seasoned promoter and label head in the Chinese electronic music scene. He previously served as the editor-in-chief of the electronic music platform "Dianmiao Music (Electric Delight)" and was a contributing writer for DJ MAG China’s Trance section, where he was featured on the cover story of the second issue.
His label AROS MUSIC has also achieved remarkable success internationally, gaining support from respected Trance producers around the world.
As a Chinese Trance artist and veteran promoter, EZEKiEL remains true to his mission: to spread love through Trance music. His unique sonic vision resonates in every corner of the city he performs in. As a seeker of transcendent sounds, his presence leaves a deep emotional impact. He has also shared the stage with internationally renowned artists such as Paul Oakenfold, Alan Morris, Marco Cera, Sick Individuals, Greg Downey, Luminn, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Aligash, and Erly Tepshi.
